Even before being diagnosed when my lupus wasn’t active I had the butterfly rash. It becomes more pronounced in the sun and heat.

Mine started in my late 50’s. My rheumatologist said its not likely mine will go inward. I am on medicine teice a day and stay out of the sun, no more going to the beach, so sad.
