this is very interested,to know I’ve had lupus since 1998,that I was diagnosed and I had a bad fall in Oct 2022,and now,I suffer with bad headaches,that my head starts feeling warm and then a hot feeling and I get very dizzy and I get nausea and it makes me feel like Iam losing my life’,it’s gotten very serious ,I get very anxious and scare.,and my Dr hasn’t done much to help me with this serious medical problem,I also have other serious medical conditions,and the Dr tells me my bones are deteriorating.Thank you for all this information I’ve learned alot by reading this information thank you.

I’ve suffered from migraines most my life until my hysterectomy. Then they returned with a vengeance a few years after my SLE diagnosis. I’m now on Ajovy and Nurtec. Seems to help 90% of the time.

I have severe headaches starting at the base of my skull with every lupus flare. The only thing that works is prednisone and I have to take it early on, before the nausea and vomiting begin.

I have had lupus over 28 years. Depending on the doctor is how I was treated. Headaches occur every day I have had 5 sinus surgeries with no relief. I had trigeminal neurology and had 3 teeth removed to stop the pain. I am very tired of living with constant sinus infections and antibiotics.

I have related my headaches to foods that contain garlic. Since I have omitted it from my diet my headaches are minimal and typically stress related now.

I developed severe nocturnal headaches, after lying down for two hours ! Only relieved by getting up walking around for awhile, antiinflamatories. MRI found I had developed a meningioma in a critical location, neurologist believes it’s the result of Five years of untreated lupus cerebritis! I’m also sero negative lupus!
