Experience shows you which grains may be uncomfortable for your own gut. In our climate we are lucky enough to grow our own vegetables from late Spring to late Autumn [Fall] and can testify that nothing is as good as straight from the garden. Even different types /brands of wholemeal bread are not as easily digested as others. Some factory produced breads can have a bad effect on the gut. Fresh beans are easier to tolerate than dried beans. Canned beans are fine if cooked slowly in soups and stews. lots of vegetables and small amounts of meat make easy delicious meals
