I have a strained voice and sinus issues and lots of other things. I was also diagnosed with P anca vasculitis which in my rural area no one knows anything about both disease.

I have had this for 8 months now they are trying to tell me it’s muscle tension dysphonia but I am sure it’s related to my lupus now after reading I know it has to be !

I have been wondering if the shakiness and low volume of my voice is related to lupus. It comes and goes and is very apparent.

In reply to Lisa Marmon. I have it too and people think I’m crazy or have a cold. But I also suffer from shortness of breath and chronic Costochondritis which causes breathing issues.

I have never had this before ,and I noticed that my voice has been rough and raspy throat sore I’m just so upset because Doctors don’t listen.

At last a reason why I suddenly started to sound like Gravel Gerty. My local ENT hadn’t a clue. My local Speech Pathologist was clueless. Why don’t professionals listen to their patients who are experts about their own bodies? I just knew it had to be lupus…
